13 weeks! 

Lub Dub

I heard the heartbeat today at my appointment with the midwife! It was AMAZING. Sounded girly!

We have decided that we DO want to know the sex. I feel kind of bad about it, like I am not as hardcore as I thought, but I am just dying to know. I want to start sewing and quilting and calling Baby Who by her or his name!

I look smaller! Maybe less bloat? 

Second Trimester!

We are now one third of the way to a Baby Who!

We are contemplating whether or not to find out the sex... We weren't going to, but the idea of Bill knowing as he goes to Alaska for two months is nice...it might give him a nice connection and we can start using our boy or girl name.

C.Dom (my coworker) and I went to McSweeney's for lunch and chatted forwever with the pregnant waitress. She's carrying high and tight and looks five months pregnant but is due in September. With a boy. She's only been in maternity clothes for a month. I am three months and into the maternity wear already!

And yesterday someone I have only met once asked when I am due. And no one told her I was preggo.

Eleven weeks! 

Feeling Hot Hot Hot

Never have I been so glad to no longer live in Austin. Heat and pregnancy. Two great tastes that SUCK together.

Vomited for the first time in weeks yesterday.

You know you are pregnant when every dream you have includes a public restroom and the inability to pee. I know that this means that my sleeping body has to pee. And that my mind won't let me wet the bed at almost 30, thank god. But why am I not smart enough to wake up and GO to the bathroom?

Nine and a half weeks! 

Almost 8 weeks!
